4-H Summer Camp Counselors
Are you interested in serving as a camp counselor this coming summer? This is a unique opportunity for 4-H teens to develop your leadership skills, work with a great team of peers, and provide a memorable and meaningful experience as a mentor to our younger 4-H'ers. Applications are open now, and deadline to apply is Friday, December 1, 2023.
Being a summer camp counselor is a commitment: there are monthly planning meetings with your required attendance, a mandatory overnight winter counselor retreat to build our team, and responsibilities outside of our meetings to plan and organize your camp activities. It's strongly recommended that you also enroll in the 4-H teen leadership project.
Most of all, it's a lot of fun! Many kids say summer camp is their favorite thing about the 4-H program. If you want to be considered as a teen camp counselor, and can commit to the time and responsibilities, please apply now! Teen 4-H'ers ages 13 to 18 may apply. Applications available at https://lc4hcamp.com/apply/
