Public Health Internship Program

Internship banner Lewis and Clark Public Health actively and strategically seeks to develop a competent workforce to perform public health duties and enhance the education of students by providing relevant field experience. The LCPH Internship Program strives to provide out-of-classroom opportunities that are complementary to coursework by offering distinctive work-learning experiences beyond the typical academic environment.

The Internship Program will provide opportunities for professional growth and development and enable students to serve as ambassadors for the LCPH mission in their professional specialization, education, work setting, or community. Upon completion, students will have developed core competencies that reflect foundational skills desirable for professionals engaging in public health practice, education, and research.

Internships will be awarded based on opportunities available within the department and the interests and qualifications of applicants. We regret we may not be able to offer internship positions to all applicants.
