Liaisons and Coordinators
In keeping with our philosophy of community policing, Lewis & Clark County Sheriff's Office utilizes numerous volunteers. These highly trained and motivated volunteers provide thousands of hours of service to the citizens of Lewis & Clark County. Due to the number of volunteers and the diverse areas of responsibilities, the Sheriff has appointed full time sheriff's office employees to oversee those activities.
Search & Rescue Liaison Officer - Bill Pandis (406) 447-8242. This is a vital function that coordinates Search & Rescue volunteers to work together with Lewis & Clark County Sheriff's deputies.
Reserve Coordinator - Don McCarthy (406) 447-8235. This position manages the day-to-day operations of the reserve officers' activities, which include patrol, security, training and crime prevention.
Rural Fire Department Liaison - Captain Kevin Wright (406) 447-8204. This position provides the link between the Sheriff, who is also the County Fire Warden and is responsible for fire suppression within the county, and the numerous volunteer rural fire departments.
