Liaisons and Coordinators

In keeping with our philosophy of community policing, Lewis & Clark County Sheriff's Office utilizes numerous volunteers. These highly trained and motivated volunteers provide thousands of hours of service to the citizens of Lewis & Clark County. Due to the number of volunteers and the diverse areas of responsibilities, the Sheriff has appointed full time sheriff's office employees to oversee those activities.

Search & Rescue Liaison Officer - This is a vital function that coordinates Search & Rescue volunteers to work together with Lewis & Clark County Sheriff's deputies.

Reserve Coordinator - This position manages the day to day operations of the reserve officer's activities, which include patrol, security, training and crime prevention.

Rural Fire Department Liaison - This position provides the link between the Sheriff, who is also the County Fire Warden and is responsible for fire suppression within the county, and the numerous volunteer rural fire departments.

Chaplaincy Coordinator - This position provides a means for deputies to have a spiritual and crisis intervention resource available to them in their own times of need as well as in the field in crisis situations with the public.
