Dr. Heather McRee, Medical Director
Heather McRee, D.O., joined PureView Health Center in 2004 after completing her residency at the Montana Family Medicine Residency in Billings, MT, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. McRee grew up in Maine and, after completing high school, spent a year in a small village in Zimbabwe, working in an orphanage and hospital. It was in this formative year that she solidified her desire to pursue a career in healthcare. She graduated with honors from the University of Montana and returned to Maine for medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. She loves being a family physician because it allows her to problem solve with her patients. She believes in quality healthcare for everyone and prefers prevention over pills. In her free time, she enjoys trail running, mountain biking, camping, skiing and being with her children and her husband.
Cynthia Alarcon, Physician Assistant
Cynthia Alarcon was hired by PureView Health Center in the summer of 2014. She comes to PureView from Holy Rosary Healthcare in Miles City, Montana. Cynthia graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. She studied at Flathead Valley Community College for her LPN and then Rocky Mountain College for her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. She has previously worked as a field biologist, naturalist, whitewater guide, ski patroller and EMT, which peaked her interest in studying medicine. She works at the main clinic as well as at the Healthcare for the Homeless program at God’s Love Homeless Shelter in downtown Helena. Her professional interests include rural medicine and improving access to healthcare in underserved populations. She became a PA to directly improve the access to quality care in Montana’s small communities and she enjoys community health for that reason.
Laura Broussard, Family Nurse Practitioner (Parker Medical Clinic)
Laura Broussard began practicing at Parker Medical Clinic in Lincoln in August, 2017. She graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing degree from Boise State University in Boise, ID in May of 1993. Laura began her career at St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise before moving to Oklahoma where she worked at the hospital and then at the health department. Laura also volunteered at the Dream Centers in Louisiana and California helping them to get their mobile medical clinics established. Laura returned to school and in January, 2004 graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a Master’s of Science degree in Nursing. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and treats patients of all ages. Laura has mainly worked with the under-served populations in urban and rural locations and is passionate about this work. In her free time, Laura enjoys the mountains, biking and skiing and is happy to be providing services at Parker Medical Clinic.
Villette Burk, Behavioral Health Case Manager
Villette Burk joined PureView Health Center in August 2015 to be part of our Behavioral Health team. She attended and graduated from Montana State University with a bachelors degree in sociology. After graduating college, Villette worked in the mental health field as a case manager and provided intensive in-home mental health services in both Bozeman and Helena. More recently, she has worked with children with disabilities and their families to provide early intervention and facilitate community resources.
Dr. Kyle Denning, Dentist
Kyle Denning D.D.S. joined PureView Health Center in January 2018 after serving in Western Oregon since 2013. He received his B.A. in Biology from Carroll College in Helena, and then attended Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, NE. Originally from Eastern Washington, Dr. Denning also has family in Butte.
Dr. Denning enjoys treating an underserved population and providing quality care for those with limited access to dental treatment. In his spare time, he likes to be with his wife and two children exploring the great landscapes Western Montana has to offer.
Holly Gomez-Levine, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Holly Gomez-Levine joined PureView Health Center in July, 2017. She is Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and is licensed in Montana to treat patients struggling with mental illness. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in nursing from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. Holly specializes in child/adolescent populations but is also experienced in treating adults.
Dawn Gormely, Nurse Practitioner
Dawn Gormely joined PureView Health Center in May of 1997. Her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Nursing, is from Carroll College, in Helena. She worked at St. Peter’s Hospital, primarily in Pediatrics, for a number of years prior to returning to academia to become a Nurse Practitioner. She completed a Master’s Degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus through Montana State University in Bozeman as a member of the program’s first graduating class. Dawn has found family practice to be an amazing environment to work in. Seeing several generations of families grow has been extremely rewarding. In her spare time, Dawn loves quilting, antiquing, reading, home projects, Montana outdoors and traveling with family and friends.
Christina Keener, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Christina Keener began working at PureView Health Center in July 2015 as the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the new Behavioral Health department. She is from Wilkes Barre, PA. Chris obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University in New Jersey. She later attended Gonzaga University, where she earned her Masters of Science in Nursing and her Nurse Practitioner certification. She has been a Nurse Practitioner in the Helena area for more than 15 years. Chris loves getting to know her patients as the unique individuals that they are and helping them to achieve optimal potential.
Trish Leasure, Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Trish Leasure, LCSW, joined PureView Health Center in June 2018. She is employed by Intermountain Community-Based Services but works within the Behavioral Health Team at PVHC.
Trish graduated from the University of Arizona in 1971 with a B.S. in Education and Rehabilitation. She received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1981. Trish has spent her career specializing in child and family therapy in a variety of community settings. Most recently she has worked in foster care and adoption through Child and Family Services, DPHHS; Shodair Hospital as a primary therapist; and Intermountain School-Based Services in both elementary and middle school settings.
Trish grew up in Ohio, but quickly fell in love with the West. She has lived in the Helena Community for over 30 years and is an advocate for getting kids outside or involved in the amazing activities that Helena has to offer. She is passionate about working collaboratively with children, parents and families. Trish also enjoys spending time with her adult daughters, exploring Montana and the northwest, playing tennis, hiking with her dog, and skiing.
Lisa Kenny, Nurse Practitioner
Lisa Kenny began working at PureView Health Center as a nurse practitioner in 2003. She is a Helena native with degrees from Carroll College and Gonzaga University in Spokane. She enjoys working with the uninsured, and patients with mental illness, to help them optimize their health and overall well-being. She is married and the mother of two. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, felting, calligraphy and spending time with her family, dogs and friends.
Terri Losey, Case Manager and Social Worker
Terri is a Carroll College alumna. Terri likes “helping” people for a living and has been in Social Services for many years. She likes working for Lewis and Clark County and PureView Health Center as she feels supported in what she does. Terry says, “It is not like carpentry or book keeping. You do not often see immediate results of your efforts in Social Work, but it is very rewarding when someone comes back to you after a period of time (sometimes years) and updates you on their progress or lists off some of the short term or long term goals you had helped them set, that they have now met or exceeded. It is sometimes like you are painting a wall you cannot feel with an imaginary paint brush full of invisible ink. The results can be extraordinary or non-existent. You have to hope for the best and accept what you get.”
Michelle Marten, PharmD, RPh
Michelle Marten joined the PureView Health Center team in January 2018 as part of a partnership with Geneva Woods to provide pharmacy services for our patients. She has been employed by Geneva Woods Pharmacy since 2012. Michelle began her education at the University of Great Falls majoring in Criminal Justice and Accounting, and soon after realized that her passion was in healthcare. She was accepted into the University of Montana Pharmacy School in 2008 and earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2012. Michelle enjoys the outdoors and spends most of her free time in the mountains camping, 4-wheeling, hunting and fishing. She also loves touring around on a Harley with her husband and watching her son compete in freestyle skiing across the country.
Margaret Phillips, Family Nurse Practitioner
Maggie Phillips joined PureView Health Center in August 2018. She graduated from Montana State University with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. Maggie is originally from a small town in northern Wisconsin and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. Since that time, she has accumulated more than six years of nursing experience in various areas of patient care. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she worked at St. Peter’s Hospital. She enjoys working with patients and families to promote healing and wellness and is passionate about providing quality healthcare services to the community.
In her free time, Maggie enjoys spending time with family and friends and everything outdoors under the Montana sky, especially backpacking, hiking, and cross-country skiing.
Melissa Rambo, LAC
Melissa Rambo, LAC joined PureView Health Center in December 2017. She graduated from Montana State University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human services and an Associates Degree in Rehabilitation. She is currently working on a Master’s degree with Grand Canyon University. Between 2002-2012, she worked for a community correctional facility in Billings obtaining her License in Addictions Counseling in 2011. Additionally, she has also worked with the PACT Team at the Center for Mental Health as an LAC working with those afflicted with severe mental illness and Substance Use Disorders. She is excited to be working with PureView Health to assist those struggling from the devastating disease of addiction. Melissa enjoys traveling, boating, camping, four-wheeling, and exploring Montana’s landscapes and mountains.
Dr. Saul Rivard, M.D.
Saul Rivard, M.D., joined the PureView Health Center team in 2016. He completed his residency and served as Chief Resident at the Family Medicine Residency of Western Montana in Missoula, MT. A Montana native, he was born and raised in Livingston, MT, where his love for family medicine first took root. He graduated from Brown University in Providence, RI, with a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, bolstering his passion to improve access to care through health care policy.
Dr. Rivard received his medical degree from the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Since returning to his home state, he has been involved with the Montana Academy of Family Physicians and the Montana Office of Rural Health. His interests include child and adolescent medicine, preventive medicine, and women’s health. He enjoys spending time with his family, attending community theater events, and woodworking. Dr. Rivard is thrilled to be back and practicing under the Big Sky.
Dr. Will Snider,
Dr. Snider is a graduate of the Montana Family Medicine Residency where he served as Chief Resident. He has lived in Helena since 2001, and is a previous Medical Director for the Cooperative Health Center. He returned to PureView after spending 2 years exploring Private Practice. In addition to Public Health, Dr. Snider enjoys competitive mountain biking and Nordic skiing. He is also a fly fisherman and lover of wild places and public lands.
Dr. Snider is originally from Indiana. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Montana and a medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Prior to attending medical school he worked in environmental advocacy and as a wilderness fly fishing guide in Alaska. He has a young daughter and enjoys teaching her about life and the outdoors.
Sharon Speck, Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Sharon Speck began working with PureView Health Center in July 2015. She joins our new Behavioral Health team as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has been a licensed therapist for nearly 20 years in Delaware and Montana. She joined PureView after working in Helena at the Center for Mental Health and St. Peter’s Hospital Behavioral Health Unit. Sharon graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor’s Degree in History and received her Master’s in Social Service from Bryn Mawr College School of Social Work and Social Research in Bryn Mawr, PA.
Dr. Madeline Turner, M.D.
Dr. Turner joined the PureView team in September 2018. She is a Montana native and received her undergraduate degree from Montana State University. She attended medical school at the University of Washington as part of the WWAMI program followed by completion of residency at the Swedish Cherry Hill Family Medicine Program in Seattle where she served as Inpatient Chief Resident. After residency, Dr. Turner became faculty at Swedish Residency and worked at Seattle Indian Health Board. Madeline’s interests include Hepatitis C treatment, addiction medicine, and comprehensive women’s health. She is passionate about teaching and has taught medical and nurse practitioner students in the past and hopes to continue this in the future. She strongly believes in healthcare access for all and hopes to empower patients to understand and manage their own health. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her husband, baking, and lately, home improvement projects.
Dr. Daniel Wordal, Dental Director
Dr. Wordal began working at Pureview Health Center in January of 2016. A Helena native and fourth-generation Montanan, he is a graduate of the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. He also has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Saint Olaf College and a graduate certificate in Public Health from the University of North Carolina. He served active duty with the Navy and Marines and recently returned to Helena after six months of advanced education at UCLA in California. He is excited to be back in Montana and to serve the patients of this wonderful community.
