Scratch Gravel Permit is accepted ONLY at the City of Helena Transfer Station - 1975 N. Benton

- The current Scratch Gravel permit is Blue and is effective for 2 years - July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2022.
- Your permit will automatically renew on July 1, 2021.
- A new permit will be sent out on or before July 1, 2022 when the current is due to expire.
- Scratch Gravel permits (property owners only) are alloted 1.5 tons (3,000 lbs) per the annual solid waste assessment.
- As waste is hauled into the City of Helena Transfer Station that weight is applied to the remaining tonnage on the permit.
- Once 1.5 tons has been exceeded customer will be required to pay as they throw until the permit is reloaded, which is on July 1st each year.
- Lost permits can be replaced by calling the City of Helena Transfer Station office at 406-447-8086 or 406-447-8084.
