Integrated Solid Waste Master Plan
The City of Helena, in partnership with Lewis and Clark County and key stakeholders, is developing an Integrated Solid Waste Master Plan for the City and County. The plan must evaluate current City, County, and private waste management operations for their efficiency and effectiveness, identify alternatives to current practices, and discuss options for funding sources. Take survey here.
The City of Helena Solid Waste Division is responsible for the management of the Lewis and Clark County Landfill, the Marysville Container Site, the closed Scratch Gravel Landfill, and represents the Department of Health on the Lincoln and Augusta Solid Waste Boards.
- Random load inspections will be conducted and video surveillance is in place to monitor.
