NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
The Lewis and Clark County Commissioners Public Meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at 9:00
AM in Commission Chambers Room 330.
It is the policy of the Board of County Commissioners to render a decision at a later date after they have had
ample time to consider all oral and written public testimony. The BoCC may render a final decision on the same
date if substantial new information is not received. Public comment must be limited to matters under the
jurisdiction of the Commission.

3. Amendment to the Contract Between Lewis and Clark County and Sletten
Construction Company. (Audra Zacherl)
The Commissioners will consider the amendment to the Contract with Sletten Construction
Company setting the guaranteed maximum price and construction schedule for the entire
Detention Center Renovation project. Total contract amount is $6,821,434 with final project
completion in August 2020.
4. Contract Between PureView Health Center and Coding & Compliance Initiatives, Inc.
The Commissioners will consider the contract with Coding & Compliance Initiatives, Inc. for
Documentation/Coding Education for Providers. The contract will be $1,700 for the first day
and $1,500 for each additional day with costs for travel, hotel, etc. to be billed separately.
5. Modification 1 to Contract 217027 Between Lewis and Clark Public Health and Montana
Department of Environmental Quality. (Kathy Moore)
The Commissioners will consider the Modification to Contract 217027 with the Montana
Department of Environmental Quality modifying the termination date from June 30, 2019 to
June 30, 2021; and implementing Montana legislative changes by altering some
applicant notification dates as described in the attached contract document.
6. Grant Award to Lewis and Clark Public Health from Montana Department of
Environmental Quality. (Kathy Moore)
The Commissioners will consider the grant award from the Department of Environmental
Quality in the amount of $21,227, with a Health Department Match of $27,254 for the FY2020
Lewis and Clark County Outdoor Air Quality Program (DEQ Grant #520004). The grant
period is July 1, 2019 through June 20, 2020.
7. Request to Sponsor Good Samaritan Ministries and Thrift Store for a Montana
Department of Commerce Community Development Block Grant Planning Grant.

The Board of County Commissioners will consider the request to sponsor Good Samaritan
Ministries and Thrift Store for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Planning
Grant. Good Samaritan is seeking the CDBG Planning Grant to complete a Preliminary
Architectural Review (PAR) and provide preliminary plans for a new roof and updates to the
overall thrift store space.
8. Ordinance 2019-1 Approving a Ballot Question on the Issue of Whether to Allow Non
Partisan Elections. (Roger Baltz)
The Commissioners will hear the first reading of the ordinance.
9. Public comment on any public matter within the jurisdiction of the Commission that is
not on the agenda above.
