Web Services

Web services can be utilized to access GIS data - without actually downloading the data. Connect to these web services with ArcGIS software.

ArcGIS Server Services (Arcmap)

1. Within ArcMap, select the "Add Data" icon and browse to GIS Servers
2. Select "Add ArcGIS Server"
3. Select Use GIS Services (Next)
4. Select the "Internet" ArcGIS Server connection and type the following Server URL: https://helenamontanamaps.org/arcgisadp/rest/services/OpenData

ArcGIS Server Services (ArcCatalog)

1. Open ArcCatalog and browse to GIS Servers
2. Select "Add ArcGIS Server"
3. Select Use GIS Services (Next)
4. Select the "Internet" ArcGIS Server connection and type the following Server URL: https://helenamontanamaps.org/arcgisadp/rest/services/OpenData
