To receive a mail ballot, you must be registered to vote.

Check your voter status at  MyVoterPageMT.com

Ballots will be mailed October 9. The Elections Office will continue to mail ballots daily as new registration applications are processed. After October 26, you should come in-person to register and vote.

Ballots should be returned by mail at least one week before Election Day. If you haven't put your ballot in the mail by then, you should drop it off in-person.

BEFORE Election Day, you can return your ballot in person at the City-County Building, 316 N. Park Ave. in Helena during business hours. A drive-thru will also be in operation during business hours. 

ON Election Day, you can return your ballot in person at any of the following locations between 7 am and 8 pm:

  • City-County Building, 316 N Park Ave, Helena

  • East Helena City Hall, 306 E Main, East Helena

  • Lincoln Community Hall, 404 Main St, Lincoln

  • Augusta Youth/Senior Center, 132 Main St Lincoln

  • Wolf Creek School, 150 Walsh Wolf Creek
