Proposed Special Zone District No. 51

NOTICE OF 30-DAY PROTEST PERIOD ON CREATION OF SPECIAL ZONE DISTRICT NO. 51 

The Lewis and Clark County Commission proposed boundaries for the petitioned Special Zone District No. 51 on November 21, 2019. Persons owning real property within the District may submit written protest to the Community Development and Planning Department until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2019. Protests must be received by the date specified and contain the physical address(es) of the real property (if there is one), printed names, signatures, and dates of signing for all owners with an interest in the real property. 

On Tuesday, January 7, 2020, the Commission will hold a public meeting at 9:00 a.m. in Room 330 of the City-County Building, 316 North Park Avenue, Helena, Montana, to consider passage of a Resolution creating boundaries for the District.  The Commission may not create the District if owners representing 50% of the titled property ownership properly protest the District.
