Augusta Fitness Classes
These FREE fitness classes are provided by Lewis & Clark County Extension
Held at the Augusta Community Center in Augusta, MT
HIIT - High Intensity Interval Training Wednesday, May 31st 5:00 PM - 5:45 PM
HIIT incorporates varying intervals of intense cardio and strength training exercises with active recovery. Increase your heart rate, improve strength, boost your endurance, and work your entire body with challenging moves.
Bootcamp Wednesday, June 14th 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Challenge your mind and your body by alternating between high and low intensity exercises that utilize free weights, plyometrics, cardio training, and balance work. Partner work will be included so bring a friend!
Barre Wednesday, June 28th 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Barre combines elements of ballet, yoga, and Pilates to work your arms, legs, glutes, and core in a high-intensity, low-impact workout.
Tabata Wednesday, July 19th 5:00 PM - 5:45 PM
High-Intensity strength and cardio vascular training class that will push your body to the edge. Tabata uses a 20 second work window and 10 second rest window, repeated eight times for each exercise. The four minutes of work are followed by one minute of active rest. Burn a ton of calories and get stronger!
