FALLS CREEK ACQUISITION PROJECT
On April 11, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners opened up a 30-day comment period. This comment period will close on May 11, but County Staff will continue to accept comment until the public hearing is scheduled. Any public comment previously submitted to County Staff will be included in the final review of this project. Following the 30-day public comment period, a public hearing will be scheduled. At this public hearing, the Board of County Commissioners may make a decision on the amount they wish to distribute from the Open Lands Bond to the Falls Creek Acquisition.

Total Project Cost: $2.46 million
Amount RMEF has raised: ~$870,000
Open Space Bond Measures Met: Protect habitat for fish and wildlife, protect water resources and water quality, preserve open lands and natural areas, and provide public access and opportunities for recreation.
