2015 Growth Policy
On March 3, 2016, the County Commissioners adopted an update to the 2004 Lewis and Clark County Growth Policy per Resolution No. 2016-13.
Volume I of the Growth Policy update is a report based on research and citizen input on five key issues that often arise during the reviews of development proposals (water, wastewater, roads, fire protection, and flooding).

2015 Growth Policy Amendment - Helena Valley Area Plan
On March 30th 2017, the Lewis and Clark County Board of County Commissioners adopted an amendment to the 2015 County Growth Policy - Helena Valley Area Plan to include a new chapter title Chapter 7: Fort Harrison - Joint Land Use Study.
