Temporary Detour for Custer/Henderson Intersection August 29-30

Helena, MT – A temporary detour for the intersection of Custer Avenue and Henderson Street will be in place on August 29 and 30, 2024. The detour will allow a consultant to conduct geotechnical boring as part of the design process of a traffic roundabout at the intersection.

Northbound traffic to Custer will be detoured onto Brady Street, while westbound traffic to Henderson will pass through one-lane traffic control at the intersection. When traveling through the detour, please slow down and be aware of work crews, pedestrians, and traffic control signage. To help alleviate traffic congestion through the detour, the public is encouraged to use alternate routes whenever possible.
