Northstar Park Master Plan Open House

May 22, 2024

4:30 - 7 p.m.

West Valley Fire Rescue

1165 Forestvale Road, Helena, MT 59602

Project team members will be in attendance to gather public perspectives, discuss the parks master plan process, provide project details, and answer questions. The open house will be an informal gathering for the community to freely explore materials and have conversations with the project team at their own pace. The project team will be seeking community input on desired park elements and activities, site specific concerns and opportunities, and general feedback on the park’s development. There will be opportunities to provide feedback and perspectives throughout the event. For those who are unable to attend the open house, information and virtual tools to gather community feedback will be made available on the project webpage, northstarparkhelena.com.

The Northstar Park Master Plan aims to provide a framework for the future development of the site into a regional park serving the North Hills portion of Helena Valley and beyond.  A park master plan is a comprehensive long-range strategy that is designed to offer direction, optimization, and a balance for the park systems. Input gathered at the open house and on the website will be used as a building block towards the development of the Northstar Park Master Plan.
