Lewis & Clark County Board of Commissioners to hear public comment

The Lewis and Clark County Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, in room 330 of the City-County Building, 316 N. ark Avenue, Helena, MT for the purpose of obtaining comments regarding the environmental review record associated with the Lewis and Clark County Courthouse Elevator Replacement Project.

At the public hearing the proposed project will be explained, including construction activities, budget, schedule, and funding for the project. The County intends to apply for a Montana Historic Preservation Grant for the project. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to ask questions and express opinions regarding the proposed projects and any environmental impacts.

Comments may be given orally at the hearing or submitted in writing before 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Written comments should be sent to Lewis and Clark County Public Works, 3402 Cooney Drive, Helena, MT 59602 or by email to countypublicworks@lccountymt.gov.

Copies of the draft environmental record will also be available at the public meeting.
