
What?
The jail working group is a group of county citizens representing several departments that have come together to review Lewis and Clark County Detention needs.

Why?
In May 2011 an outside group reviewed the Lewis and Clark detention facility, and while it was considered very clean and efficient, it was still lacking in size for the population it is required to detain. After careful consideration the county has decided to take steps to rectify the issue, one of which is to create the working group.

Undersheriff Dave Rau- Law Enforcement Facility
Captain Dave Fradette- Law Enforcement Facility
Chief Adm. Officer Eric Bryson- County Commission Office
Kyle Thomas- L&C County Public Works Department
Where and When?
The Jail Working Group meets each Monday at 1:30 p.m. in room 309, the City and County Building (316 N. Park Avenue, Helena, MT.)
