The Dental Clinic is located within the Cooperative Health Center at 1930 Ninth Avenue, Helena MT 59601. A direct entrance is located at the corner of Ninth Avenue and Fee Street.

Services Available

Routine dental procedures are scheduled from 10 AM to 3 PM. The dental clinic does not offer crowns, bridges, dentures, or implants.

The clinic is open from 7:30 to 10 AM for walk-in patients who are in pain. Patients of the pain clinics are served on a first-come, first-served basis. We can see a limited number of patients during this time, typically about 4.

Making Appointments

To make a regular dental appointment, call the clinic at 406-457-8928.

The clinic schedules appointments for the current month only. Please call the at the beginning of the month to schedule an appointment. Once all appointment slots are reserved for the month, scheduling will close until the first of the following month.

New patients must schedule a comprehensive dental exam, X-rays, and periodontal evaluation before the clinic will provide dental treatment (except treatment provided during pain clinics). New patients may forgo X-rays if they supply X-rays taken by another dentist within the past 12 months.

Canceling Appointments

If you must cancel an appointment, please provide the clinic with at least 24 hours' notice. If you fail to show up for an appointment without proper notification, all your pending appointments will be canceled (except in emergencies).

Pregnant Patients

Pregnant patients must provide a medical release from their obstetrician clearing them for dental treatment.

Payment

Fees are based on a sliding scale with a minimum payment of $20 expected at your appointment.

If you would like to see whether you qualify for a discounted fee, please bring one of the following as proof of your household income:

• W-2 (from all jobs) in the last tax year from each working person in your household.
• Federal tax return or Social Security statement
• 2 current paycheck stubs from each working person in your household
